What a cruise port transfer is
A cruise port transfer is a private car reserved in advance for a named sailing, in either direction. Going out, we watch the inbound flight, you call the chauffeur once you have your bags, and the car meets you at the curb outside baggage claim. Coming back, the car is at the terminal on disembarkation morning for the run to Miami airport, Fort Lauderdale or your hotel.
Both legs are usually booked together, and they should be. Embarkation day has one hard deadline; disembarkation has several thousand people leaving one building inside the same two hours. A car assigned weeks in advance solves both.
The price is agreed when you book and fixed on your written confirmation. There is no surge pricing on a Saturday morning in January, which is when the ships turn around and every rideshare in Miami is priced accordingly.

What we cannot do
None of our vehicles is wheelchair accessible — no ramp, no lift, and we cannot carry a powered or non-folding chair. A folding chair, walker or cane travels as luggage if you tell us in advance.
Most of our work is airport transfers and cruise port transfers, but the same car and the same chauffeur will take you to dinner in Coral Gables, a closing in Brickell or a weekend in the Keys. Whichever it is, the tolls and the parking are already inside the figure you were quoted.
Why book a private cruise transfer instead of a shuttle?
A private cruise port transfer in Miami is booked for you alone, which on embarkation morning is the difference between arriving on your own schedule and waiting for a shared van to fill up. Cruise transfers between both airports and both ports
Two ports, two airports, and most people mix them. The busiest run we operate is the transfer from Miami Airport to the Port of Miami cruise terminals — 9.3 miles and about 24 minutes — but flying into Fort Lauderdale and sailing from Miami, or the reverse, is just as common and priced just as plainly.
The return leg is the one people forget. A car service from the Port of Miami to Miami airport is the same journey in reverse at the same starting rate, but disembarkation morning is not like arrival: several thousand passengers clear one terminal inside about two hours, and the cars that are there are the ones that were booked. Tell us your ship and your assigned debarkation time and the chauffeur is waiting from first call — with a flight later the same day, that is the difference between a calm morning and a missed check-in.
Hotel pickups the night before a sailing are worth booking at the same time as the airport leg, and so is a post-cruise hotel night or a run straight to Fort Lauderdale. Booking the outbound and the return together means one confirmation, one price, and a chauffeur already assigned to both.

Cruise parties are rarely two people. A premium SUV takes six passengers and six suitcases, a Sprinter van fourteen, and a minibus or motor coach handles a family reunion or a corporate sailing in a single vehicle — which matters more than it sounds, because one vehicle means one arrival time at the terminal rather than three cars turning up twenty minutes apart.
Child seats are supplied and fitted before pickup on any vehicle, and there is no charge for paying by card. If your group needs the car for more than the transfer — a night out before the sailing, a tour on the way — our hourly chauffeur service keeps the same vehicle and driver with you for the day.

A cruise port transfer is a flat rate between one pickup and one drop-off, and the starting rate is the same in either direction — airport to terminal on embarkation day, terminal to airport when you disembark. The published rate on each route page is a starting price: it varies by vehicle class, and by the hour and date you travel. Once you have a written confirmation, that number is fixed and it is what you pay.

How far ahead should I book a cruise port transfer?
Cruise luggage is bigger than airport luggage, and this is where parties get caught out. A Business Sedan takes 2 passengers and 3 bags, an Economy SUV 4 and 4, and a Premium or Luxury SUV 5 and 6. Larger parties go in a Sprinter van. For a week-long sailing, book a class up from what you’d take to a hotel.
What time will the car collect me on embarkation day?
9.3 miles and about 24 minutes on a normal day — allow 20 to 45 depending on traffic and the time of day, and longer on an embarkation Saturday when several ships turn around at once.
Is it safe to fly in on the morning of my cruise?
What happens if my flight is delayed on embarkation day?
Your chauffeur is at the airport before you land, and you agree the exact spot on the day, once you know which terminal you have come out of. They will contact you via the phone you provided.
Curbside pickup is free; meet and greet inside with a name board is $10 with sedans or SUVs.
Where does the driver meet me when I disembark?
No. Provide us the cruise line and ship name, and we look up the terminal assignment.
How early can you collect us on disembarkation morning?
Yes – rear-facing, forward-facing or booster, supplied and installed, but only if you request them when you book. A chauffeur cannot produce one at the curb. Children never travel on a lap.
Do you serve both PortMiami and Port Everglades?
Yes, we offer return transportation back to Miami International Airport (MIA) after your cruise. We strongly recommend booking your return trip at the same time you reserve your ride to the port. Booking round-trip in advance ensures your return ride is secured before you leave, so you do not have to worry about finding a vehicle or waiting in long lines at the cruise terminal when you return.
Will our luggage actually fit?
Tipping is completely optional and up to you. Gratuities are not included in your fare. If you feel your driver provided excellent service, you are welcome to tip them directly at the end of your trip.
Is the price I'm quoted the price I pay?
Published rates are starting prices. They vary by vehicle class and by when you travel. Once you have a written confirmation the number is fixed and it’s what you pay. Tolls, parking, port and airport fees are already in it, and there’s no administrative or service fee. The only additions are ones you ask for: an extra stop, meet and greet, a child seat.
